ACTORS
Alma Drama produces TWO shows each year. Our shows are open to ALL students in ALL grades.
The plays vary from year to year: sometimes drama, sometimes comedy, sometimes a mystery, sometimes classic, sometimes contemporary, and sometimes a musical.
In addition to the school play, our course focuses on the aspects of technical theater, performance, and production. This class' content changes from semester to semester, so students can take it multiple times (up to 8) for credit.

The Shadows are the Stage Crew group of people who work backstage before, during, and after the theatrical productions here at AHS.
Stage Crew is open to all students.

Technical Crew
Tech Crew runs every week between shows, and usually also during tech week. Jobs in this area include:
building / construction of set pieces
painting
lights set up
sound set up
making props
organization and cleanup of the shop
Production Crew
Production Crew works during tech week, dress rehearsals, and the performances (two-three weeks before a show opens). Positions in this area include:
Stage Manager
Assistant Stage Managers
Light Board Operator
Sound Board Operator
Spot Light Operators
Running Crew
